Dass elektronische Klangerzeugung und Datenverarbeitung nicht nur substituieren, sondern vielmehr den Stellenwert eines gleichberechtigten Kunstmittels erhalten, übt auf Musiker und Hörer gleichermaßen faszinierenden Reiz aus.<br /> Nach mehreren Jahren beruflicher Tätigkeit als Grafik-Designer sowie getrennten musikalischen Aktivitäten treffen sich Christian Albert und Niko Dzoidos unter dem Namen Philoop seit Anfang 2005 erneut zum Musizieren, um in einem ersten Projekt gesammelte Eigenkompositionen digital zu innovieren.<br /> Maßgeblichen Impuls erfährt dieses Vorhaben durch ein von Apple veröffentlichtes Sequenzer-Programm namens »GarageBand«.</p> <h2>DISCOGRAPHIE</h2> <p>»Retrospection« versteht sich als Rückblende nicht als Abschluss der kreativen Arbeit von Philoop.<br /> Die Besonderheit von »Retrospection« liegt im Changieren stilistischer Elemente sowie im Zusammenspiel akustischer Instrumente und synthetischer Klangwirkungen. Musicians and listeners alike are fascinated by the fact that the electronic generation of sounds and electronic data processing are not only a substitute for, but rather are on an equal footing with, conventional artistic media.<br /> After several years of professional work as graphic designers and separate musical activities, Christian Albert and Niko Dzoidos reunited at the beginning of 2005 and have been playing music together under the name of Philoop in order to digitally innovate their own collected compositions in an initial project.
